Connotations was created by Japanese photographer, Hideyuki Ishibashi and American poet, win harms, with sound production by Guido van Asselt. It has been shown in Amsterdam and Tokyo as an installation piece. The digital collages are amalgams of boys using internet hashtags to generate images which Hideyuki imagined when he first read win’s poetry. Check Hideyuki’s website for his take on the project.
